Hiya!

I know I've been dead lately, and I know not many still watch me, if any, but I figured I'd update by pointing out where I've been posting stuff.

I've been using to post sketches and concepts for characters that I've been drawing in my spare time or at work.

Not only that but, as I've mentioned before and have in my signature, I've been working on video reviews of movies with my oldest friend Dave here at Sofa Reviews: sofa-reviews.blogspot.co.uk/

Now I have some things in mind for the future, I'm still trying to find a colouring method that feels right for me, as well as working my day job and trying to play games I own.  Oh yeah, I have a day job!  After a year of unemployment I finally got one, and I'm pretty damn happy with it!  Been three months now, and I'm half way through my contract so I'll be keeping an eye out just in case I don't get to stay on permanently, but for the moment I can relax.

Hope you're all doing well, and good luck to those stuck between jobs, I understand how hard it can be, but have hope that even after a year there's a chance you'll get one!

When did that happen?!  And how?!

Wow, reached a landmark and have been doing naff all to reach it, this calls for some art, so will get on that tomorrow!

Much like Zelda and soon Metroid, I have turned 25...

For some reason I feel pretty uninterested in my birthday this year, though I don't know why.  Only two cards so far, one from my Nan, the other from my Aunt, who I'm sure wrote the one from my Nan, not that I blame her.

Despite this, I'm content.  

Mostly.



I'm still looking for work, though it's not going well, I still want to lose weight, but ditto, and I am actually drawing a lot, though I'm not doing final pieces, just sketches in A5 pads.  I'm hoping to get an easel with whatever money I get for my birthday, as well as a brush set, and will try my hand at water colours like I've wanted to for years.  I don't know if I can scan that sort of thing, but I'll try to get whatever I can complete on here.



In other new I recently got a new kitten a few months ago, an adorable little black cat we named Zara.  She's vicious mind, left me with more scratches than I've had for a long time, I also feel somewhat guilty with the idea of her replacing my previous cat, Sweetie, who I looked after since I was 8 years old.  That's just me being silly though, this kitten needed a home, and we were happy to provide.

Sadly she's been rather odd today, refusing to eat and drink and throwing up frothy spit.  We've managed to get her to drink a little water but she's still refusing, so we'll be taking her to the vet once they're open (It's currently twenty to 3 in the morning, I'm a night owl) so fingers crossed.



I'll try to make this page more worth while, and I do have a new project going with my oldest friend, Dave, reviewing movies on the internet.  I know, really original, right?  But we're trying to have fun with it and make people laugh regardless, so I hope you guys enjoy it if you want to check us out. - sofa-reviews.blogspot.com/




Other than that I hope those of you who still watch my page are doing well, and thanks for still thinking I'm worth you're time.

I plan to lose up to 5 stone in weight, taking up a sport to meet such an end.

To find a perminent and full time job so to help me find a place to call my own.

To draw more, practice from books on anatomy and sequencial art so that I can design characters and creat comics.

And to start work on learning how to make games through Game Maker.

Been a great day so far, though dinner isn't ready yet, but Street Fighter, some Studio Ghibli, and chocolate have made a great start!

Will hopefully have a Christmas pic up this year at some point, though I know I've been saying that a lot.
